First time at the Okra you can build your bowl, I got blackeyes beans, corn, chicken, plankton rice, and vegetable sauce. Could not eat it all in one sitting. Worth the trip.

This was the first time we came here. We tried the build-a-bowl. One with lamb, grilled vegetables, garlic potatoes, and fried plantains. The other one was chicken, garlic potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, sweet corn and fried plantains. We got the sauce on the side so we could try the peanut sauce and the tomato sauce. Both were very good. The tomato sauce has a little kick to it, just the right amount. The food was delicious! 👍😍 We will definitely be back.
I forgot to take pictures, but the other pictures on these reviews are excellent. We had plenty for leftovers to take home and will enjoy them later. 😊
I absolutely love this restaurant. HOWEVER, there is one big downfall and it happens everytime I order it. I love the kabobs. you get 3 cubed meat pieces. Most times I get 1 edible cube and the other 2 are gritty and full of fat. So at $4 a kabob and one edible piece it ends up being $22/lb. If I didn't love the flavor so much, I'd stop trying them. It's unfortunate to see such poor quality at such a high price.
